Girls and Boys Tennis Start season with a win!

On Tuesday night the boys & girls tennis team traveled to St Cloud for their first match of the season.  The boys swept St Cloud 7-0. The girls defeated the Bulldogs 6-1 with their only loss at #2 doubles. Tonight tennis takes on Evans at Osprey Park.

This weekend the varsity cheers competed at UCA’s National High School Cheerleading Championship. This is the biggest cheer competition in the country, teams travel from all over the country to compete.  The FHS cheer squad finished 7th in the large co-ed division! Girls Wrestling Finishes Big in States!

This past weekend at Dr. Phillips, Freedom High School had two state placers for girls wrestling. Congratulations to Issa Salgado, 2nd Place in States and to Ridlica Tataille, 1st Place State Champion.

2 FHS Girl Weightlifters Going To States

Freedom High School will have 2 student-athletes repesenting  at the  FHSAA Girls 2 STATE CHAMPIONSHIPS.  The state championship will be held in Panama Beach, Florida at Arnold High School on Saturday, Feb 3, weigh-ins at 8AM. 101- ZEENA ZAYED – REGION 6 CHAMPION 154 – NICOLE WATANABE REGION 6 CHAMPION                            

Tennis Tryouts

Tryouts for Boys and Girls Tennis will be on Monday, January 22-Tuesday, January 23 at Osprey Park. You need to provide your own transportation. Bring water and a racket.
