Freedom Athlete of the Month Presented by Crocs – Kalani Rivas

Congratulations to Senior Kalani Rivas who has been named the Freedom High Athletics: Athlete of the Month Presented by Crocs. As a member of the Girls Wrestling Program, Kalani became the program’s first four-time state placer. In February of 2020, Kalani became the 2020 State Champion in the 134 Weight Class. Wrestling Hosts Metro Conference Tournament This Weekend

Come out and support your Freedom Patriots as they host the Metro Conference Tournament here at Freedom High School this weekend. The action begins at 3pm on 2/7 and at 9am on 2/8. Tickets will be sold at the door. 2/7: $6 2/8 Session 1: $6 2/8 Session 2: $6 2/8 All day pass: $10

Wrestling Senior Night Wednesday Night at 7pm

Join us tomorrow night in the FHS Gymnasium for our wrestling Senior Night vs Timber Creek as we honor the Freedom Wrestling Class of 2020. JV will wrestle at 6pm, followed by the Senior Night ceremony at 7pm. The Varsity Wrestlers will take on the Wolves immediately after, with the first match scheduled for a 7:15pm

State Champion Alum Signs Wrestling Scholarship

Congratulations to Elizabeth Dillard on signing an athletic scholarship to wrestle at Midland University in Fremont, Nebraska. Elizabeth was a 2019 State Champion and ranked #13 in the country.

Freedom Wrestling featured in Orlando Sentinel Pre-preseason Wresting Rankings

Fresh off a tremendous 2018-2019 season for our entire Freedom Wrestling program, several of our student-athletes have earned their way into the Orlando Sentinel Individual “Pre”-preseason Rankings for the upcoming season.
